Introduction

Cipangu and Magellania are two continents, roughly the size of Australia, that lie within the middle of the Pacific ocean. In this world however the Pacific ocean is split into three distinct bodies of water. The Balboan ocean to the east, the Carolinian ocean to the west, bordering China and Japan, and the Elizabethan ocean, bordering the southern polar ocean. 

Cipangu and Magellania are not a single continent. Both of them have distinct geological origins and remain unconnected, as they are separated by a narrow strait.
