Description: EPIC Service Warriors meet for one year to participate in community service projects and leadership development workshops. Description: A seven-week program where high school-aged youth can participate in workshops about Asian American history, urban planning, community organizing, professional development and more (and receive a stipend upon completion!) Youth apply the lessons learned in workshop to putting on our annual Films at the Gate festival (FATG), a three-day, youth-led, Chinese-language film festival in Boston Chinatown which attracts around 700 people every year!

The Immigrant Youth Advancement (IYA) Program provides leadership training and hands-on experience to immigrant youth. Through this program, youth are paired with nonprofits to gain life skills to earn a scholarship as community leaders.
The eligibility requirements for the program are:
Youth must be between the ages of 14 to 24
Youth must be residents of the City of Boston
Youth must currently be enrolled in high school, post-secondary education, or a GED/HiSET/Alternative Education program

Our bi-weekly meetings are intentionally located on the campus of Wentworth Institute of Technology to inspire hope and a belief that a college degree is in all of our student’s futures.
LEADERS CLUB is a character and leadership development program that serves teens ages 12 to 18. It is organized for the purpose of providing knowledge, training and experiences to young people. In this program, our young people become strong leaders in their communities, foster a spirit of service to others and shapes a healthy lifestyle in Mind, Body and Spirit.
YOUTH & GOVERNMENT is nationally accredited program which teaches young people the steps to make social change happen. In this program students participate in a Model Government Conference by acting as a Senator, House Representative, Lobbyist, Judge, Lawyer, Journalist and more. Delegates receive training in these positions through weekly meetings and special training events prior to the conference.
TIKKUN OLAM inspires teens to lead and give back with the For the Culture and Tikkun Olam program at the YMCA. This program empowers youth to tackle social issues through service projects, advocacy, and cultural exploration.

Description: Throughout the school year, if you're a high school student in Boston, ABCD's WorkSMART program can help you succeed with your studies and get ready for the future through career readiness and a paid internship.
Commitment/Pay: Pay is based on age and will be discussed during onboarding. WorkSMART is about learning to balance school and work while building the skills and confidence to succeed at both. During a 10 week internship, you’ll work 10 hours a week on a schedule that aligns with your school hours. We’ll partner with you to develop a personal and career development plan, and you’ll receive two hours of tutoring and counseling each week.
You will also have the option to enroll in a college course, certificate training and/or mentoring, and receive professional social supports throughout the academic year.
