Chasedae is made up of four members — Chanhee, Gorae, Junhyung and Wonhee — whose connection goes back to their teenage years at the same school. Although Gorae only joined the band in late 2021, he and Chanhee had already been playing together for years, including in an earlier band, Roosters (2012–2015). Junhyung used to attend their performances, and has jokingly described himself as a "successful fan." There is even a family tie within the group: Chanhee and Wonhee are first cousins. 

Living together and working fully independently, the four have built a chemistry that sits at the heart of Chasedae’s identity. Their shared cheerful spirit runs through everything they do, and comes across vividly on stage.

• JEBI ON AIR: Chasedae has been performing monthly at a venue called JEBIDABANG, which livestreams every performance on their YouTube channel.

  • You can also tune in every month to watch them from anywhere in the world, usually on the penultimate Sunday of the month
