- red rose: write a gift-fic for someone you have not written a gift-fic for before (note that this shouldn't be the person you're doing for the Valentines's exchange or its white day portion) & review a fic by that person
- amaryllis (splendid beauty): write an abstract piece of prose (use metaphors instead of concrete images, etc.)
- alstroemeria (friendship): write about your brOTP
- white chrysanthemum: write about a "true and unyielding" love
- green rose: write about a character who is sick - this sickness can be anything from minor to life-changing & review a fic on the first page of the digimon archive (that's the general archive, not our DFC one)
- gladiolus (remembrance): write a crossover with the first non-digimon fandom you watched/read
- freesia (thoughtfulness): write at least 4k in the first person POV
- hydrangea (heartfelt emotions): write a death!fic
- queen anne's lace (complexity): write in a writing style you have never used before
- orange rose: write about someone showing an obsession & review a fic about your OTP (or a pairing you like if your OTP is so rare you can't find any other fics on it you haven't already read)
- bird of paradise (joy): write about a birthday, marriage or birth. Or any combination of those!
- anemone (fading hope): write an unrequited pairing
- daffodil (rebirth): write a reincarnation fic
- carnation (pride and beauty/admiration): write about parenthood
- yellow chrysanthemum: write about a "slighted" love
- blue rose: write a letter/group of letters & review something not written in conventional prose (eg. letters, poems etc.)
- protea (courage): write about the next step to a relationship
- gardenia (purity and sweetness): include a character giving another a flower/bunch of flowers
- lily (purity and refined beauty): write about a relationship that at least one character initially believes is unattainable
- pink rose: write about someone showing gratitude to their mentor/senior & review a fic from a forum member
- heather (wish): write a fairytale retelling that has a happy ending
- iris (eloquence): write a fic with no character names and no dialogue
- leaf rose: write a fic where the final status of the relationship is unclear, even to the readers & review a fic posted for this advent
- ranuculus (charm): write about a brainwashing/trickery
- tulip (decleration of love): write about a confession
- lilac (youth): write about characters in their childhood days
- orchid (feminity): write from a female character's POV
- peony (shame): write about a misunderstanding that leads to more than just an awkward situation
- white rose: write a gift-fic for someone you have received a gift-fic from in the past. (note that this shouldn't be the person you're doing for the Valentines's exchange or its white day portion) & review a fic by that person
(all the roses come with writing & review tasks, so make sure you do both if you choose those prompts!)
BONUS: Go to: Use each of the quotes in a separate fic with the theme at the top being a common. If you get "love" or "friendship" though, you'll need to refresh the page. You're not getting off that easily!
