On Thursday May 7, 2020 the Deltona Fire Rescue and Florida Forest Service Responded to the area of 3337 Dewberry Dr for a Reported Brush Fire.

Upon the arrival of Engine/Brush 63 a ¼ acre non contained brush fire with exposures to 3 houses was transmitted and units began to work by pulling attack lines. Battalion 61 arrived shortly after 63 units and established the #dewberrydrcommand . Upon the arrival of Florida Forest Service Dozer 10-51 aggressive fire attack continued and began setting up a fire line. After approx 2 hours of fire attack the fire was contained and Command was terminated. Units stayed on scene to put out hot spots, mop up and refill tanks for approx 1 more hour. Moments after Brush 61 left the scene FFS Dozer 10-53 and Supervisor 10-502 arrived and ensured the surrounding houses were protected from fire.
