While crossing the Seabreeze Blvd Bridge Engine 3 reported a defined column of Black Smoke and reported a confirmed fire. Upon the arrival of Engine 4 the crew also confirmed a Partially involved Commercial Structure Fire with a Black Column of smoke coming from the rear kitchen area and established “Burger King Command” which was later handed over to Battalion 1. Engine 5, 4 and Rescue 1 began a quick offensive knock down on the fire while Engine 1 and 3 arrived for fire attack support. Upon the arrival of Battalion 2 they were assigned Safety Command and positioned their unit at the Bravo Charlie Corner by Engine 3. Crews from Engine 4 and 5 also worked on the Roof to contain the fire in the vent system. Once the Fire was mostly contained Rescue 1 returned to service while units mopped up. After approx 1 hr and 15 minutes on scene command reported all fire out and all units returned to service.
