On Wednesday May 6th, 2020 around 14:26 the Seminole County Fire Dept. and the Sanford Fire Dept responded to the area of 919 Persimmon Ave behind the Boys & Girls club for the report of a Vegetation Fire.

Upon the arrival of Engine 31 it was reported that there was a large pile of brush that was smoldering producing large amounts of smoke. Engine 31 pulled an Attack Line and began to knock down the fire. Upon the arrival of Woods 41 a 2nd attack line was pulled and knocked down the fire shortly after. Units began the mop up and left the scene after approx. 45 minutes on scene.
