To get a good start to the new band year, it is important to make sure we have all the proper equipment for our instruments. Below I have listed the necessary accessories for each instrument. (The items in parentheses are not required, but highly suggested!) If you know what you need - go and buy it. If you’re not sure - ask Ms. Stone.
Be sure your instrument is in proper working order: valves working, no leaks in pads, tuning slides are oiled and move, and the mouthpiece is clean. If you suspect your instrument may need repairs, bring it to me to check and we will decide if it needs to be sent to a repair shop.
