Networking Nights is a series of Thursday Night offerings for Cornellians to get together around an idea or a passion and meet others of similar interests. We pick an inexpensive restaurant or bar for a beverage or a meal... and a moderator or 2 works to help us share the discussion. You should be bringing as many questions as comments to keep it lively. Here are some topics in need of co-hosts:
My Big Project: held in Ithaca during Reunion Weekend. Especially but not limited to the Class of '86. What's a passion project you have? During reunion weekend, swing by the hang-out area of the Class of '86 where they'll already have food/ drink to support a small table meet-up moderated by Maggie and Holly. We want to know what your passion project is (in 7 minutes or less.) It could be a work project or something cool you are doing for leisure in the DMV. Birding, volunteering, organizing politically. If we have more than 6-8 at our table, we'll form 2. Let's have a rich discussion and get to know more Cornellians in the DMV. Each presentation will end with the line, "...And if you would like to discuss my project and interests further, I'll be here all reunion weekend! Get me a drink!"
"Man, I love this book!" Should we start a book club for CCW? Bring titles you love for Fall, 2026 discussions
