A variety of packages, ala carte prints, and specialty products are available for purchase. Select items require the purchase of a package.
Prepay is available prior to your school's scheduled picture day and will close at 7:00pm EST the day before your scheduled picture day.
Your school may have distributed an order form with an envelope that can be filled out. You may also pay by check or cash. Follow the ordering instructions on the envelope. We still highly recommend ordering online as this is the fastest method.
We ask that you place one order per student when you prepay for pictures. This is so we can make sure the correct picture package / print combination are matched with the specific student's photo that you are ordering.
Spring picture day is a prepay method. All orders for individual portraits must be given to the photographer on picture day. If your student does not turn in a picture order for individual portraits then we do NOT photograph him or her at the individual camera.
If your school offers class groups then you may still order after picture day. We photograph all students for your class group regardless of purchase.
Each student has a unique online gallery. Your student will be given a paper with a QR code on it. Students are instructed to bring this paper home. You can then scan the code with a smartphone and enter his or her gallery. Please note that this is to facilitate additional orders placed after your prepay order.
Please note that photos take up to four weeks to be posted online. If you attempt to view the gallery too early then it will display a message that the gallery is not active or has expired. Rest assured that you will see the photo soon!

You can order pictures from our website for the duration of the school year.
It depends on when the order was placed. Once an order is placed online and processed then it cannot be changed or cancelled. Please email us so we can review your specific order to see if any adjustments can be made.
Please contact us. We will be able to issue you a refund for your order.
Certain custom print and specialty products are produced separately from portrait packages. In some cases, we work with the school to get these items ready and delivered at the same time. If these items are shipped to your home then they may have shipped in separate envelopes or boxes due to the item in question.
It mostly depends on when you place your order.
If you prepay before picture day then your order will likely be delivered to your school. There is not a shipping fee when we are able to ship to schools.
If you place your order after picture day then your order may be sent directly to your home and you will need to pay a shipping fee.
Please allow approximately four weeks after picture day for school distribution. If you placed your order after picture day then it may take longer (up to eight weeks) as it is considered a "late order" in our system for processing purposes. If your order is being shipped to your home then this does not include transit time.
We cannot take new orders for individual pictures after spring picture day. We only photograph individual portraits of students that turn in an order form to the photographer on picture day. Because of this, we likely do not have an individual portrait on file to purchase. Please contact us for assistance.
Due to COVID-19, you may experience longer than average wait times, including orders arriving later than originally estimated. We appreciate your patience as we strive to continue providing the products and services you love.
Our images are copyrighted and cannot be reproduced from the individual prints. However, you can go online and purchase a digital download of your child’s image. Along with the digital image, you will receive the photo release for the image so prints can be made. You will need to provide this photo release to any print shop to produce your copies. If you have questions, please contact us.

We use the student information you provide us for picture identification and to track an order for customer service.
It depends:
If you are prepaying for a digital download then your image will be available about four weeks after picture day.
If you have access to viewing your student's picture after picture day and are purchasing the digital image then you should receive the download link within one day of purchase. If you elected to pay for retouching then it may take a little longer as our photo retouchers need to work on your image before it is available.
Please check your Spam/Junk folder. Sometimes emails get accidentally filed away by your email provider. If it is not in your Spam/Junk folder, we may not have your email or the email address we have on file is incorrect. Please email customerservice@candidcolor.net with your child’s name, school name, order number, and information that you did not receive your digital download and have already checked your spam filter. We will send you the image you did not receive.

Please email our customer service to let us know why you are unhappy with your pictures. There may be something we can do to improve the quality of your pictures. However, if you are sure you would like a refund, simply return your entire package within 30 days of receipt to Candid Color Photography.
Please note that we do not offer refunds on digital products like the downloadable image. This is due to the nature of the product you are purchasing.
