Prepay is available prior to your school's scheduled picture day and up to five days after picture day to assist parents that have yet to order.
Your school may have distributed an order form with an envelope that can be filled out. You may also pay by check or cash. Follow the ordering instructions on the envelope. We still highly recommend ordering online as this is the fastest method.
We ask that you place one order per student when you prepay for pictures. This is so we can make sure the correct picture package / print combination are matched with the specific student's photo that you are ordering.

If your high school or middle school receives student ID cards from us then your student's online information can be found on the bottom of the card.

You can order pictures from our website for the duration of the school year.
It depends on when the order was placed. Once an order is placed online and processed then it cannot be changed or cancelled. Please email us so we can review your specific order to see if any adjustments can be made.
Your student can have their picture taken on retake day at their school and should bring your online receipt with them to give to the photographer. If a retake is not available or if retake day has already passed then please contact us for a refund.
Certain custom print and specialty products are produced separately from portrait packages. In some cases, we work with the school to get these items ready and delivered at the same time. If these items are shipped to your home then they may have shipped in separate envelopes or boxes due to the item in question.
It depends on when you place your order.
If you prepay before picture day then your order will likely be delivered to your school. There is no shipping fee when we are able to ship to schools.
If you place your order after picture day then you may need to pay a shipping fee to have your order shipped directly home. This is still the fastest method to receive your order.
Prepay orders typically arrive at the school approximately four weeks after picture day for distribution. If you placed your order several days after picture day then it is considered a "late order" in our system and is processed separately from preorders. During our busiest months, allow up to eight weeks to receive your order at the school. If your order is being shipped to your home then it will arrive faster (transit time may vary).
Orders that are placed after picture day are considered "late orders." These are processed separately from those families that prepaid in advance. Late orders are returned to the school or mailed to your home address as soon as possible, once the original orders are complete.
Due to COVID-19, you may experience longer than average wait times, including orders arriving later than originally estimated. We appreciate your patience as we strive to continue providing the products and services you love.
Our images are copyrighted and cannot be reproduced from the individual prints. However, you can go online and purchase a digital download of your child’s image. Along with the digital image, you will receive the photo release for the image so prints can be made. You will need to provide this photo release to any print shop to produce your copies. If you have questions, please contact us.

We use the student information you provide us for picture identification and to track an order for customer service.
It depends:
If you are prepaying for a digital download then your image will be available about four weeks after picture day.
If you have access to viewing your student's picture after picture day and are purchasing the digital image then you should receive the download link within one day of purchase. If you elected to pay for retouching then it may take a little longer to work on your image before it is available.
Please check your Spam/Junk folder. Sometimes emails get accidentally filed away by your email provider. If it is not in your Spam/Junk folder, we may not have your email or the email address we have on file is incorrect. Please email customerservice@candidcolor.net with your child’s name, school name, order number, and information that you did not receive your digital download and have already checked your spam filter. We will send you the image you did not receive.

If you received your package from the original picture day and do not like them, you can participate in the retake day at your school. Simply return the package you received, and do not want, to the photographer on retake day. We will then reprocess your original order using the new picture from retake day. You do not need to place a new order.
If you elect not to retake your student's picture for a replacement package then a full refund is available. Please email our customer service to let us know why you are unhappy with your pictures. There may be something we can do to improve the quality of your pictures. However, if you are sure you would like a refund, simply return your entire package within 30 days of receipt to Candid Color Photography.
Note: We do not offer refunds on digital products like the downloadable image. This is due to the nature of the product you are purchasing.
