On the evening before the VMA-223 Open House, I had the opportunity to stop by Seymour Johnson AFB on my way down to Havelock. I ended up catching a number of F-15Es on their way out during sunset, providing fantastic visuals of their afterburners.

Overall, SJAFB is a fantastic location for spotting with easily accessible spotting locations and frequent sorties.
