After two years, the Great Texas Airshow returned for the 2026 airshow season, featuring some of the best performers on offer including the USAF F-22 demonstration team, Thunderbirds, and a Combined Arms Demonstration as well as a myriad of fantastic civilian performers. 

I was lucky enough to get on base a day early with the help of a friend, which allowed me to photograph the static display aircraft in the rain which was a very unique experience resulting in solid images.

During my opportunity to get on base and see the static display aircraft early, it became very rainy which added some nice texture to a lot of these images. This was a very rare and special opportunity despite not all static aircraft being out.
