Hi there! I'm Catalina and I'm twenty-two. Reading, crafting and cooking are my favourite things to do. I'm in my fourth year of studying at UTN. This year I'm attending my last three subjects. 

My teaching experience spans the last three years. To add on to that, I have experience from a few odd jobs, substitute work and private lessons. I've taught online, but not any longer. I enjoyed the possibility of easily using digital tools when online teaching and learning, but the connectivity and accessibility issues definitely hindered my enjoyment of the online education experience.

I hope this subject will help me improve my technological teaching skills and give me tools to not only make my classes more dynamic but also more efficient to plan.

In regards to the two songs you will see that I was not able to decide on just one piece of media to relate to my feelings towards technology. This is due to the fact that the internet is a big part of my life that can't be simply lumped in with all other technology.

Santé by Stromae to me represents the way technology and the internet connect me with the world and allow me and others to find a place with like-minded people and reach achievements which were previously out of reach.

Coffee by Jack Stauber reminds me of the way technology hinders us, as I became accustomed to it and became incapable of certain tasks without its help. I also connect it with the way the internet becomes addictive and leads me to create a relationship with it.
