I'm interested in graduating from the program, how do I go about doing so?
Contact us! Let your current department coordinator know and complete the Program Completion Request form on CORE and follow up with castleloa@copehealthscholars.org. You will also be indicating your intent to graduate in the next Department Preference Survey that you receive.
I wanted to get a letter of recommendation from this program, who should I contact?
You can get this by filling out the letter of recommendation request form on CORE. Please give us at least two months to complete this.
Is there a way for me to check how many hours I have completed with the program?
Your Admin Coordinator will be able to help you calculate your total hours to date! Please reach out to them to request your hours audit!
For total number of hours only, log in at: https://hcti.copehealthsolutions.com/default.aspx. For a formal hours audit or breakdown of hours by department, submit the Hours Audit Request form on CORE and follow up with your respective AC.
Can I shift on lower tier floors or do I have to move up a tier when I finish each rotation?
Yes you can! If you are very interested in shifting on a certain floor, please indicate so on your DPS and let us know!
I want to further my experiences in the program, how do I go about joining the leadership team?
We encourage you to apply for our leadership team! You can do so by submitting a Leadership Application on CORE.
Do I have to graduate once I hit 280 hours?
No you do not! If you want to further your experiences in this program, you can feel free to continue shifting and rotate to each floor! You will not have to graduate until you decide to!
Do the hours from DST, PRS, and Precepting go towards graduation hours?
Yes they do! DST and PRS shifts are mandatory but try out being a Preceptor for Training days!
