You MUST complete a Department Specific Training and Pre-Rotational Shift prior to shifting on a new floor unless stated otherwise. Please only sign up for shifts in departments you were assigned to. If you attempt to shift on a floor without completing a DST or PRS, you will receive an electronic counseling message.

Our departments are broken up into 3 tiers. Eligibility for each tier is listed below:

Tier 1 (1st rotation following Training)
Pulama (Medical Surgical)
Laulima (Telemetry)
Tier 2 (Eligibility: must complete 48 clinical hours*)
ICU
Imaging
Health Admin
Tier 3 (Eligibility: must complete a cumulative 96 clinical hours on Pulama, Laulima, or ICU AND have 144 total clinical hours)
Birth Center
Emergency Department
Behavioral Health
*Clinical hours are hours scholars earn by shifting on the floors. Project or Training Hours do not constitute as clinical hours, but still count towards graduation hours for the program.
