This immersive professional learning is designed to deepen the capacity of upper elementary educational leaders in California to support the implementation of best practices that reflect the vision of the CA NGSS.
This session is designed for participants to experience equitable, student-centered teaching and learning strategies, build and reflect upon a framework that centers student sensemaking in science, and collaborate with other leaders.
This session is designed to support educational leaders to consider what aspects of a system affect the utility of professional learning experiences, how to collect data within local systems related to implementation of science instruction, and how to plan for bringing the Session 1 professional learning to local contexts.
