NORTHERN WYOMING DIVISION
Twenty persons attended the semi-annual meeting of the Northern Wyoming Division in Sheridan on September 28th. Following a short business meeting and election of officers, Bill Tulley presented two clinics—one on different adhesives and their uses and a second on simple soldering techniques. Harold Huber also presented a clinic on lightweight modules and provided some examples for viewing. The rest of the morning was spent viewing the changes to the Sheridan layout, visiting with old friends or making new ones. Following a lunch break the attendees adjourned to Ranchester, Wyoming to view the changes and additions to Bob Charles' “Deer Feathers” garden railroad. Bob and his wife have a large (and growing) railroad. Bob must love to build wooden trestles and bridges because he has managed to incorporate many into the layout. If you get a chance to view “Deer Feathers,” don't pass it up you will be amazed by the amount of work the Charles have put into it.
