Open Volunteer Positions

2019-20 School Year

Welcome to the 2019-20 school year! As you know, Bubb School relies heavily on parent volunteers to help deliver a wonderfully well-rounded education to our kids. So we need your help!

We need to fill these positions as soon as possible:

* WATSA (Walkathon and Silent Auction) Co-Lead

Work with a team of experienced co-leads to help coordinate Bubb's biggest fundraising and community event of the year. Proceeds from this event fund things like field trips, anti-bullying programs, IPads, library books and much, much more. You will have the support of a team of highly experienced parents , so it's a great time to join the team. Email bubbvolunteer@gmail.com if you're interested.

* Garden Committee Lead

This committee is perfect for the garden lover! Help lead a team of volunteers to maintain the school's gardens, and coordinate with the Living Classroom staff to keep our garden's classroom ready . Email bubbvolunteer@gmail.com if you're interested.

* Summer Reading Program Co-Lead

Learn the ropes from a long-time volunteer and help organise and coordinate Bubb's popular Summer Reading Program and prize distribution. The bulk of the work takes place in the first few weeks of school. Email bubbvolunteer@gmail.com if you're interested.

* Lost and Found Lead

Periodically through the year, encourage people to collect their lost and found items. Uncollected items can then be donated, usually at the end of each trimester. Email bubbvolunteer@gmail.com if you're interested.

* Food and Toy Drive Lead

Organise our annual food and toy collection to benefit Mountain View Los Altos Community Services Agency. Most of the work occurs in Nov-Dec. Email bubbvolunteer@gmail.com if you're interested.

* NEW: Photocopy Team Volunteers

Help our teachers with photocopying in the front office. The more volunteers the easier the job! Requires a couple of hours a week or what ever time you can provide. Contact Vinita Alwyn (bubbvolunteer@gmail.com) if you're interested.

* Bubb Talent Show Parent Volunteers Needed

Help make the Annual Bubb Talent Show a rip-roaring success! If you love theater, music, or watching kids perform their hearts out, join our team. Contact Vinita Alwyn (bubbvolunteer@gmail.com) if you're interested in finding out more.
