Speaker Bio

Maj Kargbo, MA '11, Ph.D. '17, is the Assistant Director of Professional Development at the School of Professional Studies. Prior to joining SPS, she was a non-profit consultant, a public programs developer, and an instructor at Northwestern, RISD, and Rhode Island College. An alumna of the American Studies graduate program and a former Director of Graduate Studies, she was excited to rejoin the Brown community to support early career and executive Master’s students’ ability to find dynamic positions uniquely suited to their skill set, maximize their impact within their desired industry, and create powerful career narratives.
