Speaker Bio: 

Chris Norlund is a professor, writer, director, and media personality. He is the author of the book Positive Angle: Reboot Your Mind Live, Your Awesome Life. For over a decade, he has helped thousands of students from all over the world to follow their dreams.

He taught communication, advertising, international relations, international business, and tv and film. He was a professor at Tsinghua University, Hongik University, and the Fashion Institute of Technology. Chris has appeared on Phoenix TV, Business Insider, BuzzFeed, Korea Times, Korea Herald, and CoinDesk. He does daily content on YouTube with millions of views and appears regularly on BeFM radio. 

Chris was born at Pleiku Air Base at the end of the Vietnam War. He survived the Operation Babylift plane crash but got separated from his family. He grew up thinking he was an orphan until he found his family after forty-eight years.

He is a graduate of both Brown and Penn. He speaks Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. He and his wife live happily ever after in Busan, Korea.
