A friend of mine bought an Acuter (solar scope)
But he was having difficulties focusing, so I helped him motorize the focus
All the files, including the 3D files, firmware, ascom driver, and schematics can be downloaded by clicking here.
A nema11 motor held in a 3D printed part.
A GT2 belt with a 3D printed adapter drive the focus.
A custom build PCB holds the electronics.
FW on the esp32 S3-super mini and the TMC2209 driver complete the system.
And there is of course an ascom driver to complete the system
