Back across the channel for the first round at Belle Dune Club. A tough introduction to the week. Long walks through the dunes from green to tee. A quick lunch and we made our way back to Le Touquet where we were based for 5 nights. We played at both of Le Touquet courses - La Mer and La Foret. However it was the 2 rounds of golf at Hardelot Club that provided the most enjoyable test of golf. Plenty of water around so quite a few balls were lost on the day. Le Touquet provided an excellent base with a good choice of bars and restaurants with a lovely beach for a stroll after the golf. Pete won again!
