A return to the Med in springtime - we picked up a people carrier at Malaga Airport and we were away. We played some superb courses starting off at La Reserva at Sotogrande and finishing off playing 18 holes on the world famous Valderrama - a rare privilege to walk the fairways of a Ryder Cup venue. The mass of cork trees alongside the fairways proved a real hazard as did the water on the renowned Par 5 17th hole. The courses suited the long hitters so it was no surprise that even after the Fiddle Factor it was Clive who ended the week in top spot.
