The Blind Robot

The Blind Robot (2012) was created by Louis-Philippe Demers. It is takes the form of two humanoid robot arms that with their fingers explore the face of a human visitor much in the way that a blind person would. Likewise, it creates an 'image' of the face it explores, via touch only. In this way The Blind Robot creates a dialogue about human-robot interaction and social roles therein, coupled with quite an intimate experience.
