FaceDrone

FaceDrone by Daan Krijnen is a drone that exhibits simple mirroring behavior. When set free in a space it will explore to see whether there are any people (faces) around. It will then move towards the person, but also keep a safe distance, displaying a mix of inquisitiveness and cautiousness. People typically first are a bit scared as well but then will want to understand the drones behavior, which the drone will automatically mirror as it tries to track whilst keeping a safe distance. To an observer this appears to be highly intelligent and emotional behavior, whilst in essence the bot is only mirroring the complex behavior of the human.
