Who do you say that I am?
Some say leader, teacher, scam
Prophet, priest, or charlatan
Rebel, upstart, also-ran
Liar, thief or just a man
That may be so,
But I want to know.
So I’ll ask again
My child, my friend
Who do you say that I am?
Others say, it's not the way
They call you by another name
El Elyon and Adonai
Rapha, Nissi, El Shaddai
Refuge, Tower, Fortress, Rock
The Shepherd of a wandering flock
Son of God, and Son of Man
My Ransom since all time began
Mighty Warrior, Prince of Peace
A present help in time of need
Righteous Judge and King of Kings
The one who makes my soul to sing
Loving Father, Faithful Friend
From beginning to the end
Living water, Anchor, Veil
My Comforter each time I fail
Bread of Life, and Living Word
The sweetest name I ever heard
Savior, Soulmate, Lord of Lords
Worthy to be praised, adored
Consuming Fire, Lion, Lamb
The One and Only, Great I Am
That may be true,
But I’m asking you
Who are you willing to let me be?
What side of me do you long to see?
How much do you yearn to be set free?
Do you believe I have a plan?
Who do you say that I am?
