Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
Sometimes I feel like the least of these
Like Gideon’s fleece, or Zacchaeus’ tree
Like Jonah’s whale, or Joseph’s coat
Or one small nail in Noah’s boat
Like Balaam’s donkey, or Isaac’s ram
Or the blood stained knife of Abraham
Like Daniel’s lion, or Moses’ staff
Or the disbelief in Sarah’s laugh
Like Samson’s hair, or Rahab’s cord
Or a bucket of water Elijah poured
Like David’s stone, or a widow’s mite
Or a star over a stable on a cold, dark night
Like an empty jar of rich perfume
Like a crown of thorns, or an empty tomb
All too often it seems as if
My offering’s too small a gift
That others have much more to give
I can't make a difference
But a fruit tree grows from one small seed
And the world can change with one small deed
So I’ll walk the path God laid for me
I'll do the job He made for me
I’ll follow unashamedly
And leave the rest to Him
