Players gain a chance to roll on the treasure chart by claiming baggage trains and strategic locations:
If a player controls one or more baggage trains at the end of the battle, that player is allowed roll twice on the treasure chart.
If a player destroys a baggage train, that player roll once on the treasure chart.
For each strategic locations a player controls at the end of the battle, a player is allowed to roll once on the treasure chart (up to a maximum of 2). If you claim all 3 objectives, you can reroll 1D20 on the treasure chart.
You can find the same items more than once.
If a player was unfortunate enough not to claim any baggage trains or strategic locations, do not despair! Pillaging the battlefield will always grant some forgotten treasure.
If a player claims none or one baggage train or strategic location, at the end of the battle, the player is allowed to roll 3 times on the pillaging chart.
You can find the same items more than once.
Once you have gathered the treasure or pillaged the battlefield, it is time to give the magic items to your forces!
Characters and Champions can be equipped with magic items from the treasure chart or pillaging chart, as well as Standard Bearers where it concerns a magical banner (make a note of this on your army roster or a piece of paper). You are allowed to reallocate the magic items after battle 2, but before the pairings have been made.
A model can be equipped with only one magic item of either the treasure chart or pillaging chart.
The magic items should be allocated to the correct troop type.
The magic items are no longer restriced by race.
The magic items do not have a points value.
