During the event the event staff will stop by your table to determine the painting standard of your army. Event Points are awarded as following (all the models in the army must fulfil the criteria to score points):
Maximum effort has been put into the army: Up to 24 Event Points.
Minimum effort has been put into the army: Up to 12 Event Points.
Unfinished or even worse, unpainted models: 0 Event Points, Unpainted models suffer a -1 Leadership penalty for the entire event and are not allowed to use the Inspiring Presence and Hold Your Ground rules.
The army really stands out and people stop to admire it and go ooh and aah: Up to an additional 12 Event Points.
At the event, any manufacturer’s miniatures (including 3D prints) are allowed. Cool models, themed armies, kitbashes and conversions are highly encouraged! It should, however, be clear for your opponent which unit and equipment type they represent. Therefore, the event applies the WYFIWYG (“What You Field Is What You Get”) rules:
Models should represent the appropriate army/unit, or at least not be easily mistaken for another army/unit.
Models (excluding Characters) should represent the appropriate weapon options and upgrades according to the Muster List. At least 51% of the unit should be equipped appropriately and these models should be placed in the front ranks as much as possible.
Models should not be easily mistaken for other models within the same army. Therefore, identical/highly similar models can not be used to represent two different units in the army. For example, if you field a specific model to represent a Chariot (e.g. Razorgor Chariot), you cannot use the same model to also represent another type of Chariot (e.g. Tuskgor Chariot).
Command Group models should be represented by the appropriate models. Units that do not include a Command Group should not include banners or musicians.
Unit fillers are allowed (and encouraged, they’re cool!). However, unit fillers should not cause confusion, nor should they interfere with normal gameplay (e.g. due to their size or height). As a rule of thumb, unit fillers should not exceed approx. 33% of your unit’s size.
Models must either be mounted on the appropriate base sizes, or be placed in movement trays or base adjusters to represent the appropriate base size and unit width.
