Artist Statement:

collected fragments:

i. all work filtered through the self, through a queer femme gaze. gazing back by gazing within. queer femininity as subversive, as non-normative, beyond normative, anti-normative. self as site. Maximizing internal experience to overwhelm, confront, address the viewer.

ii. the boundaries of a femme as sacred space. a mythology that celebrates myself, the princess of nonconformity and crying through it. the viscera of fragility. Louise Bourgeois’s cells, the intimacy of enclosure. containing that which is intangible, the grief and joy of existing.
