Yes. This was installed in the 1960's along with the Cafeteria. Turns out that there were NO bullets ever fired in here.
There were two of these; one was right by the Main Gym, the other right by the Pool. When kids were done with sports practice, they would call home by inserting cash. When the parents recieved the call, they refused to pay the collection, and then they would know that its time to pick up their child.

(Photo credit-Donald Evans) This 4 foot by 8 foot sign of tha Alma mater used to be in the main gym since (I'm guessing) 1988-1989. It was taken down (I believe) when Berea and Midpark merged as a school.
