Intern Program - 2024

Are you looking for a way to learn more about ocean safety, junior lifeguards, and possibly become a Beach Lifeguard? If so, our NEW internship program is for you. You will assist coaches with various duties during practice and tournaments as an intern! 

Requirements:

1. Must be at least 15 years old. 

2. Must have been a Belmar Junior Lifeguard for at least three summers. 

3. Must have participated as an "A". 

4. Must have competed in local tournaments. 

Job Duties: 

This internship is an unpaid volunteer position. Upon completing the internship, you will receive a letter of recommendation and a letter for 100+ volunteer hours. 

1. Attend Daily Practices (July 1- July 31)

2. Attend Staff/Coach Meetings and Training.

3. Attend Tournaments.

4. Assist Coaches in various duties. 

5. You will NOT be permitted to compete.
