One of my hard truths this week was recognizing that up until 3 weeks ago, every single “math person” I followed on Twitter, whose books I purchase and read, and whose websites I frequented are white. I think that's enough to take pause and reflect. I will continue to seek the work of BIPOC and to amplify their voices and to learn from BIPOC in all areas, including mathematics.
