This makes sense as teachers we might have strong self-awareness and hopefully strong social awareness!
This is interesting but not surprising! The results do show that we need more work in developing our own emotional agility. As a staff, for the last two years, we had faced challenges together. These challenges were made worse by having such a small staff - relationships were impacted. Collaboration as a staff suffered not only due to COVID restrictions but also not feeling trust/support among staff this year.
Once again interesting but not surprising. Reading about emotional agility-and following Susan... it makes sense that this would be where we struggle the most. I think its fitting that teachers in general would struggle with self-management. Teacher put a lot of pressure on themselves, and the feelings of imposter syndrome contribute to this struggle.
