Self Portraits with Division 4.
Students were asked to create a self portrait using loose parts. Students then did the writing. The results are breath taking and so inspiring. We look forward to building a studio next year, and creating a space where classes can experiment with loose parts.

Jaden is learning English. Sometimes he finds it hard to find the right words to communicate in English what he knows and is thinking in Korean! Jaden created this beautiful self portrait using loose parts. His teacher asked him to explain all the colourful pieces at the top of his head. Jaden explained with actions, ideas exploding from his brain. He used the words volcano, explosion and colourful ideas. What a beautiful analogy!
