Instead of spending money and going to the store get a basket or bag and have your child "shop" in your own home.
Include your child in your self-care practices...sometimes.
Children often want to imitate their care gives. Model your self-care for them. Talk to them why it is important. Let them choose what they would like to do and send them off to do it.
When you journal have your child sit down and Journal also. If they can not write yet ask them to draw their journal.
What are your favorite things about being home?
What do you miss about school?
If you had one wish to make anything in the world happen what would it be?
If you had a super power what would it be and why?
Who do you admire most?
