Focus on this being a temporary situation. This will not last forever. We will get back to normal life soon.
Let children know its okay to have feelings around illness, death, quarantine, and missing their friends.
Talk to your children about preventative care. Staying home and washing hands are all precautions to keep us safe.
Example- We put on rain boots so our feet do not get wet when it rains. When lots of people get sick we stay home so we do not get sick.
