Volunteers needed for Colour Run Fun!
An event this exciting cannot happen without the support of our wonderful school community. We need plenty of volunteers on the day to help everything run smoothly and keep the energy high.
If you are available to assist, please sign up for one of the following roles:
Set Up & Pack Down Crew: Help us build the course and station setups before the action starts, or assist with cleaning up once the run wraps up.
Photographer: Capture all the vibrant, high-energy moments throughout the event.
Warm-Up & Games Organiser: Help lead the students in fun pre-run activities to get them ready to move.
Colour & Water Station Squad: Join the team drenching and dusting our runners as they pass through the stations.
Please pop your name down here to secure your spot. Thank you in advance for helping make this an unforgettable day for our students! click here >
Father's Day Wrap up
What a fantastic turn out for our Father’s Day celebrations! The sun was shining as families gathered for breakfast, and it was wonderful to see so many happy faces around the school.
The morning was packed with action - our giant soccer balls, paper plane making, chess, Uno, and craft tables were a massive hit with the kids and adults alike, as were the freshly cooked sausages. A huge thank you goes out to every single volunteer who gave up their time to cook, set up, and run activities; we truly could not run these special mornings without your help.
Our Father’s Day Stall was equally successful, with excited students proudly carrying out their signature blue bags filled with gifts. This would not have been possible without all our awesome volunteers sticking stickers on bags, packing gifts and delivering the gifts to the kids - it's a giant job and was made so much easier with you all.
We hope all the dads and father figures in our school community had a lovely, restful weekend celebrating with their families!
The Future of our P&C: Have your Say
Our P&C is entering an important new chapter. Over the past year, the demands on our canteen and uniform shop have continued to grow, while our community has shown just how much it values events, activities and opportunities that bring people together.
At our March meeting, members agreed that 2026 was the right time to step back and think more strategically about what our P&C should look like in the years ahead - and, importantly, to give our wider community a genuine opportunity to help shape it.
Saturday 19 September, from 12pm - 4pm in the School Hall
We’ll be holding a relaxed, drop-in style planning day, with separate workshop sessions covering fundraising and events, business operations, and community engagement.
Come along for one session (starting on the hour) or stay for them all, including:
12PM: Purpose, Role and Direction
1PM: Fundraising, Events and Investment
2PM: Community Engagement and Volunteering
3PM: P&C Services for Families
If you have ideas about what our P&C should do, how it should operate, what our community needs, or where we should focus over the coming years, this is your opportunity to have a say. All attendees go into the draw to win a special lucky door prize!
For planning purposes, if you are thinking about attending, please register your name quickly here.
This P&C belongs to everyone, and we’d love you to help shape what comes next.
Future of the P&C Survey: Can't attend but want to have a say?
If you are unable to attend but wish to have a say in the future of our P&C, please take five minutes to fill out our survey. The responses will directly inform the workshops on the day.
BBPS Dad's Social Event: Barefoot Bowls
Tickets for our upcoming Dad's Social are nearly sold out so if you're thinking of coming along, make sure to jump on Flexischools today to secure your spot before they sell out. It promises to be a great afternoon to connect with other dads and father figures in our school community.
Canteen Volunteers Needed!
Our Canteen relies on the support of our wonderful parent community to keep running smoothly, and we are currently short-handed for the following days. If you have a couple of hours to spare, we would love your help!
We are looking for people on Mondays and Wednesdays. Click here to see available shifts>
No prior experience is necessary, and it is a great way to meet other parents and see a few happy faces at the canteen window. If you can cover one of these slots, please click here or message Fiona on 0497 094 358. Thank you for supporting our school!
All open shifts can be found here>
Christmas Under the Stars: Save the Date
Mark your calendars for our inaugural Christmas Under the Stars on Friday, 4th December on the school grounds.
Plans are already underway for a wonderful evening featuring an outdoor movie, delicious food trucks, and a special visitor from the North Pole.
Join the Organising Committee - An event of this scale takes a team to bring to life, and we are looking for enthusiastic parents and carers to join our Organising Committee. Whether you can assist with early planning, equipment setup, food coordination, or running activities on the night, your time makes a massive difference for our school community. If you would like to help bring this magical evening together click here>
Further details regarding movie selection, ticket info, and exact timings will follow in the coming weeks!
