Mrs. Moss is retiring after an incredible 50 years in teaching - with over 25 of them right here at BBPS!

If you’ve been thinking about how to say farewell, the P&C has made it incredibly easy. We are organising a group gift and digital commemorative card on behalf of the entire school community so we can give her the send-off she deserves.

It takes less than 2 minutes, but it will mean the world to her. We need as many community voices as possible, but we only have until this Friday, 26th June!

The school warmly invites the entire community to Mrs Moss's Farewell Assembly (same day as the K-6 end of term assembly):

• Wednesday, 1st July at 12:00 PM.

• Following the K-6 Assembly and Recess

The P&C is forming a dedicated Uniform Sub-Committee, and we want you to be part of it! This working group will bring together parents, school leadership, and community members to help shape the future of the Burraneer Bay Public School uniform.

Our school uniform shop proudly services our community, and we are entering an important planning phase. The sub-committee will look at both immediate needs and long-term goals between now and 2028. Key areas of focus will include inclusivity & choice, supply & operations and affordability & sustainability.

Get Involved:

Whether you have a background in retail, finance, logistics, or simply a passion for ensuring our kids have comfortable, affordable, and practical school wear, we would love your voice on this committee.

As we head into the cooler winter months, we inevitably face a higher rate of last-minute cancellations due to illness. To help us navigate the flu season, we are creating a Canteen Emergency Standby List.

If you cannot commit to a regular shift but would be open to receiving a text or call when we are in a tight spot, please let us know.
