This week is all about action! We have a busy few days ahead with Mother’s Day preparations and our Year 2 Cake Stall. To help every family stay on top of the deadlines, we have consolidated everything you need to know into a quick checklist.
Support the Year 2 Cake Stall
Friday 1st May, 3-3.30pm
Action: Year 2 families, we need your help! Please donate baked goods or sign up for a 30 minute volunteer shift.
Drop-off: Bring treats to the canteen from 2:30 PM this Friday, 1st May

Order Mother’s Day Gifts
Thursday 7th May
Action: Pre-order a $15 gift bundle for Mums, Grandmothers, or special carers on Flexischools.
Deadline: 8:00 PM, Monday 4th May.
Distribution: Gifts will be distributed at school on Thursday 7th May.
Mother’s Day Breakfast: Order Food & Volunteer
Friday 8th May, 8-9am, outside the school hall
Order Your Breakfast: Don’t forget to pre-order food via Flexischools so we can cater accurately for the morning.
Dad/Uncle/Father figures volunteer support: We are still looking for a few more helping hands (prefereably not the Mums!) to make the morning a success. If you have an hour to spare to help with setup or serving, please Click here>
PSSA news - netball uniforms
PSSA news - netball uniforms
Thanks to the tireless efforts of a few key P&C members and school staff, our PSSA netballers will soon be hitting the court in a brand-new uniform! We are so excited to see our athletes representing Burraneer Bay in these fresh kits. We will share photos right here as soon as they arrive...stay tuned for the big reveal.
Canteen news - new on the menu
We are excited to introduce two new additions to the canteen menu, available now:
Moosies Milk Freezes*: A 100% natural, creamy frozen treat made with New Zealand skim milk, natural flavourings and minimal sugar and will be stocked in 2 flavours: Blue Moon and Strawberry.
Fresh Chicken Schnitzel (Tues, Wed & Thurs only): Sourced locally from Burraneer Gourmet Meats, enjoy a fresh chicken schnitzel served on a wrap or burger roll with crisp lettuce and mayonnaise.
*Note: As these are milk-based, they are not suitable for dairy-free diets.
One last request: call for prizes
While our major prizes are already secured, we are looking for a few more smaller donations (valued between $30 and $100) to round out our Mother’s Day raffle.
Items such as local business vouchers, bottles of champagne, or skincare sets are perfect for this. If you own a local business, this is a wonderful opportunity to get your brand in front of 180 local women while supporting our school community.
