বাংলা ইশারা ভাষায় ব্যক্তির নাম বা অন্য কোনও লিখিত শব্দ বানান করতে এইভাবে ভি (V) অক্ষরটা আঙুলের ইশারায় বোঝানো যায়। এটি ব্রিটিশ সাইন ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ (বিএসএল)-এ ব্যবহৃত দুই হাতের ইংরেজি বর্ণমালা থেকে একেবারে আলাদা এবং এর পরিবর্তে আমেরিকান সাইন ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ (এএসএল)-এ ব্যবহৃত এক হাতের ইংরেজি বর্ণমালার অনুরূপ।
This is one of two variants of the manually signed letter V most often used in Bangla SL to fingerspell people's names and concepts that don't have a common sign in use. It is distinct from the 2-handed English alphabet used in British Sign Language (BSL), and is instead identical to the 1-handed English alphabet used in American Sign Language (ASL).
