বাংলা ইশারা ভাষায় ব্যক্তির নাম বা অন্য কোনও লিখিত শব্দ বানান করতে এইভাবে ইউ (U) অক্ষরটা আঙুলের ইশারায় বোঝানো যায়। এটা ব্রিটিশ সাইন ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ (বিএসএল)-এর দুই হাতের ইংরেজি বর্ণমালার সংস্করণ থেকে একেবারে আলাদা।

This is the manually signed letter U most often used in Bangla SL to fingerspell people's names and concepts that don't have a common sign in use. It is distinct from both the 1-handed English alphabet used in American Sign Language (ASL) and the 2-handed English alphabet used in British Sign Language (BSL).
