I teach several undergraduate and graduate courses as part of the Division of Basic Pharmaceutical Science faculty.
At the undergraduate level, I teach Biology (Bio-1240), Introduction to Medical Laboratory Science (MDLS 2000), and Clinical Chemistry Lecture and Lab (MDLS 4124/4124).
I also teach a few courses at the graduate level under the umbrella of basic medical science. These courses are Basic Science I (PA 5011), Basic Science II (PA 5012), Basic Science III (PA 5013), Human Physiology/Anatomy I (PHCL-3620), Human Physiology/Anatomy II (PHCL-3630), and Human Physiology/Anatomy Lab (PHCL-3620L).
My aim in advanced courses is to prepare students for problems they will encounter and to improve their self-learning and problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, as well as their communication skills, which are required in their professional lives.
