1.  Member of the Continuing Medical Education Subcommittee, Association of Diagnostic Laboratory Medicine (ADML), 2024 – present

Continuing Medical Education (CME) plays a vital role in advancing healthcare by ensuring that medical professionals stay current with the latest developments in diagnostics, laboratory medicine, and patient care. As a member of the CME Subcommittee of ADML, I help shape educational initiatives, accreditation processes, and content development for professional development programs. My contributions support lifelong learning for clinicians, laboratorians, and researchers, reinforcing the bridge between clinical diagnostics and patient care.

2. Member of an Accreditation of Medical Education Programs Committee, Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine (XOCOM), 2024 - present

Accreditation is a cornerstone of medical education, ensuring that institutions maintain rigorous educational standards, continuous quality improvement, and compliance with accreditation requirements. As a member of this committee, I play a role in:

• Developing self-study reports for accreditation bodies such as the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME).

• Aligning curriculum and assessment strategies with national accreditation guidelines.

• Ensuring that XOCOM meets and exceeds competency-based medical education (CBME) requirements.

This work is essential for securing and maintaining accreditation, enhancing institutional credibility, and ensuring the highest quality medical education for future physicians.

3. Co-chair of the Curriculum & Competencies Committee, Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine (XOCOM), 2024 – present

As co-chair of the Curriculum & Competencies Committee, I lead efforts to:

• Design and refine competency-based medical education frameworks.

• Ensure curricular alignment with ACGME Core Competencies and LCME accreditation standards.

• Develop innovative teaching methodologies that integrate clinical reasoning, basic sciences, and interprofessional collaboration.

Serving in this leadership role allows me to directly shape the medical curriculum, ensuring that it is scientifically rigorous, clinically relevant, and responsive to the evolving needs of healthcare.
