This number came about in fall of 2017, after the first nine months of dealing with a news cycle dominated by an unhinged presidential Twitter feed. It's hard to look away from the news cycle but it's depressing, disheartening, and eventually numbing to stay locked into it round-the-clock. This number debuted at Magical Girl Burlesque's New Review at The Mayday Space in September 2017; I also performed it at Bibliothèque Burlesque's July 2019 show, A Salute to the ConsTITution.
