Tinkercad is a free, web-based 3D modeling program. This software is easy to use and is already utilized by most schools' technology classes. Students can create 3D models by dragging and dropping premade shapes and combining them together to create new unique designs. Once complete, a 3D printer can be used to create a physical object from the digital version created online.
I have used Tinkercad to create various different texture rollers for my students to use for their ceramics projects. Check out the different designs below!
