Kern Type is a graphic design based letter spacing game where players move letters in a word either left or right to achieve optimum kerning, or spacing between letters. The game will score you based on your accuracy and will become increasingly difficult as you progress. This game also features a variety of typefaces with information regarding their creator and year of publication. This is a great game for students 3rd-Grade and up!
This drawing application, Pixilart, is very similar to Microsoft Paint. Users can create pixel art by using the following tools: pencil, brush, paint bucket, spray paint, and shape generators. This student favorite game, Quick, Draw!, is a Google program which gives the player a drawing prompt. A simpler digital sketchpad, Kleki alows users to create various forms of digital art and even edit photos. Features include rotating images, flipping and cropping. There are also a few filters that can be applied to images such as blur effects and inverting colors.

Tate Kids is an online resource for art games for children run by Tate, an United Kingdom network of four art galleries. Games include Tate Draw, Tate Paint, and Street Art where users can create different works of digital artwork. There are other games and quizzes available for students to play and participate in as well. I would recommend this site for elementary school students.

Shape Type is a graphic design typography style game where players click and drag different points on a single letter to create the proper shape of the character. Each type character resembles a different font. Once the round is complete, the game reveals the name of the typeface, the designer and year.
