• The security light can be positioned anywhere to illuminate areas like driveways, backyards, and porches for added security and protection around your property. It works on a similar principle as the motion is detected the light turns on and alerts you to the potential threats anytime anywhere through the Arlo app on your mobile phone or computer.

• If one security light detects motion and gets activated it additionally triggers other lights and security cameras to start video recording.

• To setup the Arlo security lights make sure that you had installed the latest version of the Arlo app on your mobile phone or computer and then log in existing Arlo account or select New To Arlo.

• Click on Add Device, and then in the product list tap on the security light.

• Then tap Arlo security light and bridge, next scan the QR code provided on the back of the bridge by centering it in the green space in the Arlo app.

• Plug the bridge into an indoor outlet and wait for about 60 seconds, when the LED changes to blinking amber press Continue on the Arlo app.

• Now press and hold the Sync button on your bridge for about 5 seconds until the LED starts blinking blue.

• Select the WiFi network to connect the bridge and type in the WiFi password. Make sure that this is the same WiFi network that your smartphone is connected to.

• After the complete connection of the bridge to the WiFi name the bridge and select the appropriate time zone from the list. Let the app work and update if any new firmware update is available.

• Wait till the LED turns off this process may take 5 – 10 minutes.
