Local live streaming, motion cloud recording, and recording to a USB device are all options for recording 2K videos with the Arlo Pro 3 camera.

Local Live Streaming

When you press or click the play button in the Devices tab of the Arlo app or website, 2K live footage immediately streams if you allow 2K live streaming in your Arlo Pro 3 video settings.

Motion Cloud Recording in 2K

To use motion cloud recording in 2K, you must have an Arlo Smart subscription. When the Arlo Pro 3 senses motion or sound, it can record in 2K if motion cloud recording is enabled in the Arlo app. The 2K recording is stored in the cloud and may be viewed in the Library or through the Arlo app.

Recording to a USB Device

By plugging a USB device into your Arlo SmartHub, you can record 2K footage from your Arlo Pro 3 to a USB device.
